Welcome to The Association of School Personnel Administrators

The Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators (GASPA) was formed in 1966 as a professional organization for persons working in the field of human resources. GASPA provides up to date professional development and resources through two statewide conferences annually and through strong partnerships with state agencies and educational organizations.

MISSION

The mission of the Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators is to lead the way in providing best practice human capital management services for Georgia's K-12 public schools.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

Dr. Candy Norton was honored at the GAEL 2019 Winter Conference with the GAEL Service Award.

The GAEL board of directors recognizes those members who have received acclaim from GAEL Affiliates. Recognition is given to those who have devoted many years of service to GAEL and/or GAEL Affiliates.

Presentation of the award was made by GASPA's President, Ron Wade. Also pictured is Dr. Sid Camp, previous GAEL Service Award recipient.

Gary Jenkins, Director of Personnel for Jasper County Schools and GASPA Regional Director for the Middle Georgia Region was honored at the Spring 2017 conference with the Outstanding Regional Director Award. The purpose of the award is to recognize an active Regional Director who has demonstrated distinguished leadership and service to the members in their region. Presentation of this award was made by GASPA President, Sherri Freeman.
